Google Business Profile management
Your Google Business Profile is the listing that shows up with the map when somebody searches your trade in Houston. It's free, Google gives it to you, and almost every contractor we look at has it half-filled and then forgotten about.
That matters more than your website does. The three listings in the map pack get the calls. And the same profile is what the AI assistants read when someone asks them for a contractor — so it's one piece of work with two payoffs.
What “complete and active” actually means
Google rewards profiles that are filled out and that keep moving. Specifically:
- Categories — the primary one especially. Get this wrong and you don't appear for the searches you want, no matter what else you do.
- Services listed individually, in the words customers use.
- Hours, kept accurate, including holidays.
- Photos of real work, added regularly — not a logo and three stock images from 2019.
- Posts, so the profile shows recent activity.
- Review responses, to every review, including the bad ones.
- Q&A, seeded and monitored, because anyone can answer questions on your listing — including a competitor.
What we do each month
- Audit the profile and fix what's incomplete or wrong.
- Post regularly so the listing stays active.
- Add photos from your jobs.
- Respond to reviews within a day.
- Watch for the things that quietly break it — category changes, duplicate listings, suggested edits from strangers, Q&A answers you didn't write.
- Report what moved and what didn't.
One thing we won't do
We won't stuff keywords into your business name — turning “Smith Electric” into “Smith Electric | Electrician Houston TX.” It does move map-pack rank, which is exactly why you see it everywhere. It also violates Google's naming policy, competitors can and do report it, and a suspended listing is far harder to get back than it ever was to earn.
If a vendor is offering you that, they're spending your listing to hit their number.
Price
$297/mo. No setup fee, no contract. The whole ladder is on the pricing page. Call (713) 487-6870 and we'll pull your listing up while you're on the phone and tell you what's missing, whether or not you hire us.
